About us

BB Feinmechanik GmbH was founded in 2014 by Mr. Marco Bartoletti in Klagenfurt as a subsidiary of the globally active italian group BB Holding based in Florence. We produce high-quality metal components for the world's biggest luxury fashion brands and can point to many years of experience and presence on international markets.

In particular, raw metal parts such as belt buckles and bag fasteners are produced at our facility in Klagenfurt, which are then further processed and refined at our parent company. All production steps can therefore be carried out in-house with the highest quality standards.

Corporate philosophy

High-quality products and precision are our top priority. We therefore consciously oppose production in low-wage countries. Fair human conditions for our employees and the creation of a pleasant working environment are our highest priority. Furthermore, we focus on sustainability and environmental awareness; for example, we also produce biodegradable packaging from maize in our group of companies.

Acting responsibly towards our customers and employees, but also towards our environment, is a top priority for us. Therefore, we continuously pay attention to the optimisation of resource use and energy sufficiency in our production as well as to consistent compliance with all legal obligations regarding environmental protection and health and safety at work.

We stand for high product quality. The metal components we produce are carefully inspected at every stage of production and every detail is scrutinised with an eye for detail. In order to produce high-quality end products, we naturally also pay attention to the selection of high-quality raw materials.

Corn packaging: our group produces environmentally friendly and biodegradable corn packaging. Our products are delivered in these packagings on request. However, it is also possible to order only the packaging from us.

Production processes

In forging technology, planning is one of the most important processes so that the quality of the product is unique and we can guarantee economical production for the customer.

Because we have located the entire planning in our own tooling department, we are able to respond specifically to the customer's wishes and their quality requirements during prototype construction. Through permanent quality assurance in all production steps, the customer's quality requirements are precisely controlled and verified.

  • Tool Construction
    In order for the tool for a production part to be manufactured, a special technical drawing must be created in advance (3 D model)

  • Material
    We work only with high quality selected materials

  • Forging
    Forging is a centuries-old process that is passed down from generation to generation

  • Punching
    Punching removes excess residual material from the forging process

  • CNC Milling
    With CNC machines, high-quality complex shapes can be produced automatically

  • Vibratory grinding
    Trowalising (vibratory grinding) creates a high-quality surface

  • CNC Turning
    CNC lathes can automatically produce high-quality components with a design size of <1 mm

    A 100% quality control at all process steps speaks for absolute customer satisfaction

Parent company

BB Spa was founded in 2000 and is based in Calenzano, near Florence. BB Spa operates in the field of precision mechanics and produces accessories of the highest quality for the most prestigious luxury fashion brands worldwide. The entire process, from design to prototype and all the way to mass production, is carried out by BB Spa itself according to customer requirements. A wide variety of materials such as steel, brass, aluminium and wood are used for the bag, watch and shoe components. BB Spa not only realises individual components, but also finished products such as bags, jewellery, chains, key rings and custom-made products according to customer requirements. For this purpose, the group has its own research department and a design centre that cooperates with the University of Florence, among others.

The packaging for the metal components is also produced in-house. Special emphasis is placed on environmental friendliness here; the packaging is made from corn starch and is recyclable.
